In St.Petersburg Centre of Language and Culture, we understand that one of the scariest parts of studying abroad is the uncertainty surrounding where you will live and what you will eat. Since these elements are vital to having a pleasant and memorable experience abroad, we have taken great strides to provide you with as much information as possible about the housing opportunities that we offer.
In general, we offer three main types of accommodation. Each type is described in the tables bellow.

1. Family Homestay:
You or You and a roommate (if you choose) will live with a hospitable Russian family in their home. You will have access to a restroom, bath/shower, and, of course, a comfortable Russian bed! Breakfast is included in all home stay plans while lunch and/or dinner can be pre-paid if desired. If you want to experience in a very personal way the Russian culture, Russian people, and, of course, Russian food, this is the choice for you!
All St.Petersburg centre host families:

• Accord a hearty and warm welcome

• Speak standard educated Russian

• Are genuinely interested in helping students to develop fluency in Russian

Family Homestay – Teacher’s Family:

Our language school proposes a unique opportunity to stay in your teacher’s family.  You will have a comfortable accommodation and an opportunity to study Russian 24 hours a day! The teacher will tell you a lot about the Russian family culture and traditions, will help you to choose the best way to spend your free time in St. Petersburg and will involve you in Russian talk on every topic! 

2. Flat Share:
You or you and a roommate (if you choose) will live in a typical Russian flat/apartment. As in any flat, your flat will have a restroom, bath/shower, kitchen, and, of course, a comfortable Russian bed! Board is not included in these plans and you will be responsible for preparing your own meals.

NOTE: The price of Flat accommodation depends on the city region.

3. Hotel Accommodation
We recommend that requests for hotel accommodation be the student enrolment form and placed well in advance. We are able to book hotels of various categories (2* to 5*). We usually recommend a hotel located close to the place where will have lessons or to our Centre (Smolninskaya hotel, which is in the same building).
The price of the room depends on the hotel you choose.

 Housing notes

1. Accommodation prices are for 1 week; from Saturday to Saturday.

2. Accommodation is usually available within walking distance of School, but sometimes you will have to use the transport which will easily deliver you to the School within 25 - 45 minutes.   

3. Accommodation will be arranged only if total course payment (accommodation + tuition) is received at least one (1) week before the starting date of the course.
